Refund policy

1. Order Cancellation

We understand that plans change. You can request a full cancellation before your order has been shipped or produced.

  • Before Shipment: If you cancel before the item is shipped, you will receive a full refund to your original payment method.
  • After Shipment: We cannot cancel the order if the product has already been shipped out. In this case, you will need to wait for the item to arrive and proceed with the return process.

2. Return Window & Eligibility

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unused, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


3. Return Shipping Costs

To ensure transparency, return shipping responsibilities are defined as follows:

  • Defective / Damaged / Wrong Item: If the product is incorrect, damaged by the carrier, or defective, we (Youkuart) will cover the return shipping costs. We will provide a prepaid shipping label or offer a full refund/replacement.
  • Customer Remorse (Changed Mind / Size / Preference): If you purchased the wrong product, it doesn't fit, or you no longer want the item, you (the customer) are responsible for the actual cost of return shipping.
  • Restocking Fee: We do not charge any restocking fee.

4. Return Process (Step-by-Step)

Please follow these steps to initiate a return:

Step 1: Submit a Request
Email us at info@youkuart.com or call us at +1 213 569 7267 with your Order Number and the Reason for Return. If the item is damaged, please attach photos or videos of the issue.

Step 2: Get Approval & Instructions
We will review your request within 24 hours (business days). Once approved, we will provide you with the correct return address and a Return Authorization (RA) number if applicable.
(Note: Do not send items back to the address on the shipping package without contacting us first.)

Step 3: Pack & Ship
Pack the item securely in its original packaging. Please include your order confirmation email or a note with your order number inside the package.

Step 4: Provide Tracking
Ship the package using a trackable shipping method (required). Notify us via email with the Tracking Number so we can monitor its arrival.


5. Return Addresses

Depending on your location, returns will be routed to our US or UK facility. We will confirm the best address for you during the approval process.

6. Exceptions / Non-returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned due to their custom nature:

  • Custom Products: Items that are personalized, custom-made (such as "Photo to Art"), or specifically commissioned cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or defective.
  • Gift Cards: Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

7. Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not.

  • If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.
  • Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
  • If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return, please contact us at info@youkuart.com.

8. Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
